Lindquist Classroom

Location: Lindquist Center, University of Iowa
Description: We updated an outdated lecture hall with dark worn finishes, a hodgepodge of audiovisual systems, poor HVAC and lighting into a modern teaching environment. The seating was designed to support traditional lectures and group work sessions. The dark finishes were replaced with bright finishes to bring the room to life. Multiple projection screens and supplemental suspended monitors allow for all types of presentations. Accessible seating was provided at multiple locations in the room. The HVAC problems were solved. The lighting system is now both energy efficient and completely controllable.
